Accessing Theory with the IRIS Rheology Platform
The IRIS rheology platform is home base for a family of dedicated software modules, which perform rheology calculations and return the corresponding results to the graphics screen, see Fig 1. Theory modules have been written by several of the word's leading research groups. The purpose of the platform is to integrate the modules into a single tool. The user only sees the graphics screen, on which he/she analyses rheological experiments, performs calculations with the help of modules, plots the results, generates new data files, and continues with further calculations or with writing a report (for example). Data remain in the background but are available at any state of the work.
